Defying convention, Germany’s Defeated Sanity have spawned “Disposal Of The Dead // Dharmata”, an 11-track full-length that is essentially a split release with themselves. Disposal Of The Dead is Defeated Sanity in their most primal form: a caveman-esque display of audio barbarity, that is stripped down, raw, and unrelenting. Whereas Dharmata is an homage to old school progressive death metal: jazzy guitar runs, flip-flopping time signatures, and songs that stretch past the 5-minute mark. The band recruited vocalist Max Phelps (Exist, Cynic, Death To All) for the ‘Dharmata’ side of this release, better serving the avant garde style the band was going for.
