Originally released 2008 in 7-track form by Full Moon Productions and as the full 9 tracks in 2012 by Forever Plagued Records, we now present a definitive 3xLP reissue of “Death and the Black Work”, the stridently occultist debut album from Colorado’s NIGHTBRINGER.

Justly revered, this immersive record finds the band at their most dense, atmospheric and ritualistic, taking a Left Hand Path through mountainous forest into a swirling vortex of skewed and lightning-quick tremolo work, ominous synth arrangements, hypnotic drum patterns and ruthless vocals.

This reissue adds the 4 comparatively more driving and spacious but-no-less spiritual tracks from the 2005 NIGHTBRINGER/TEMPLE OF NOT split, “Rex Ex Ordine Throni”, and as a bonus, the 2 tracks of immersive dark ambience from ToN – which emanate from the minds of NIGHTBRINGER mainstays Naas Alcameth and Ophis – are offered via the digital download.

Pressed on black/bone galaxy effect heavy vinyl. Comes with a 4-page insert and a download card. Colors on final record may vary to a degree from the mockup
